Q : Does EcoRaider® use natural products?
A : Yes. EcoRaider® utilizes natural botanical extracts. The ingredients in EcoRaider® products are not listed under controlled ingredients by the Pesticide Board of the Department of Agriculture.

Q : Does EcoRaider® fall under any insecticide category by the Pesticide Board?
A : EcoRaider® is a natural insecticide that does not fall under any insecticide category. The Pesticide Board of the Department of Agriculture has approved EcoRaider® as a natural insecticide product that does not need registration with the Pesticide Board.

Q : How safe is EcoRaider®?
A : EcoRaider® is a natural insecticide product and therefore, it is non-toxic and can be used around children, pets, and even for sensitive environments such as residences, F&B outlets, hotels, nursing homes, schools, public transportation and others. There is no need to vacate the area during the treatment. The ingredients are safe to use and non-toxic in compliance with FDA GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) standards.

Q : How to store EcoRaider® products?
A : Store in a proper container in a cool and dry place. Keep away from heat or direct sunlight. The effectiveness of the product may be affected by exposure to heat or sunlight. Product may be damaged as its ingredients are natural and natural ingredients are not stable near any heat or under the sun.

Q : Is EcoRaider® safe for babies, children, elderly and pets?
A : EcoRaider® is safe for use around all vertebrates - human, pets, fishes and birds. EcoRaider® acts by targeting the receptors that only exist in invertebrates like insects.

Q : What happens if my cats / dogs accidentally lick the treated area?
A : EcoRaider® is safe to use around pets because it acts by targeting the receptors that only exist in insects. However, if the pets start showing any symptoms or sickness, quickly seek professional help.

Q : How does EcoRaider® work? Is it a contact or systemic insecticide?
A : EcoRaider® is a contact insecticide that the insects will be affected upon contact with the insecticide. EcoRaider® acts as an octopamine receptor agonist. The active ingredients will activate the octopamine receptors, leading to hyperexcitation - overstimulation that causes the death of insects due to the loss of motor coordination.

Q : How much EcoRaider® should I use?
A : The usage of EcoRaider® should always be as stated in the label. The recommended usage is 4 L for every 1,000 square feet. A 16 oz bottle covers about 125 square feet for normal infestations.

Q : How often should I use EcoRaider®?
A : According to a study done by Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA), EcoRaider® leaves the residual effect for up to 14 days on the treated areas. Hence, as a prevention, it is recommended to spray the areas using EcoRaider® every 14 days.

Q : What is the best time to use EcoRaider®?
A : EcoRaider® can be used any time during the day or night since it is a natural insecticide product and there is no need to vacate the area during treatment.

Q : Can I spray EcoRaider® into electrical outlets?
A : No. EcoRaider® is a water-based solution and it should not be sprayed into or in close proximity to active electrical outlets.

Q : Will EcoRaider® cause any damage to the wood furniture, wood floors or regular paint?
A : No. EcoRaider® does not contain any corrosive solvents of harsh chemicals. Hence it will not cause damage to wood furniture, wood floors or regular paint.

Q : Does EcoRaider® leave staining on the treated area? Can I spray it directly on the mattress and bedding?
A : EcoRaider® will not stain the treated area since it is a water-based formulation. Yes, EcoRaider® can be used directly on mattresses and beddings because the ingredients are safe and non-toxic to humans and pets.

Q : Does EcoRaider® leave any residue after spraying?
A : According to a study done by Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA), EcoRaider® leaves the residual effect for up to 14 days, as long as the treated areas are not washed or cleaned.

Q : Does EcoRaider® have any odour?
A : EcoRaider® has a slight natural woody scent. It comes from the botanical extracts and it is non-toxic. The odour will dissipate in one - two hours. It is recommended to open the doors and windows during the treatment as a good ventilation system.

Q : Will EcoRaider® cause skin irritation?
A : No. EcoRaider® will not cause irritation on normal skin because all of the ingredients are in compliance with the FDA GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) standard. It is as mild as house detergent.

Q : Will EcoRaider® cause inhalation problems?
A : Under the recommended dosage as stated in the label, EcoRaider® will not cause inhalation problems as all of the ingredients are in compliance with the FDA GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) standard.

Q : Is EcoRaider® suitable for agriculture?
A : EcoRaider® is categorized as a pesticide to kill insects including crawling insects such as ants, cockroaches and others. It can be used to control agricultural pests too by spraying on the cement area, perimeter of the garden and around the gardening container. Avoid spraying directly on the plants to prevent the possible phytotoxic reaction. However, it is not recommended to be used as a herbicide for agricultural purposes.

Q : Will EcoRaider® work for ticks?
A : Yes. To control ticks, we recommend using RTU by EcoRaider® or ER-22 by EcoRaider®. The recommended dilution is 178 ml of ER-22 by EcoRaider in 1 L water. However, avoid spraying directly onto dogs to control dog ticks.

Q : Will EcoRaider® work for flies?
A : Yes. To control flies, we recommend using EcoRaider® Mosquito Killer & Repellent for low infestation or ER-3 by EcoRaider® for heavy infestation. The recommended dilution is 60 ml of ER-3 by EcoRaider® in 1 L water. Spray EcoRaider® by focusing at the wall and areas where flies like to rest including the drainage and the garbage area.

Q : Will EcoRaider® work for termites?
A : It is not recommended to use EcoRaider® to control termites as it is not formulated to kill termites.

Q : Will EcoRaider® work for lizards?
A : No, it will not work for lizards. Lizards are reptiles vertebrates. EcoRaider® will not work on vertebrates as it acts by targeting the receptors that only exist in invertebrates like insects.

Q : Will EcoRaider® work for bees / hornets / wasps?
A : Yes. EcoRaider® can be used to control bees, hornets and wasps. However, extra precautions should be taken such as wearing a bee suit, hat, gloves and consider using eye protection. Treat the nests in the evening or at night when the worker drones are inside and nest activity is low. The hornets and wasps might become aggressive when sprayed with any insecticide. It is highly advisable to get professional help to control bees, hornets and wasps.

Q : Is there any laboratory or testimonial data for EcoRaider®?
A : EcoRaider® products have been tested for its effectiveness by Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA). Studies conducted have proven that EcoRaider® exhibits the same effectiveness as other synthetic pesticides.
